One Day Remaining

With one day remaining before Polling Day and the North Kesteven District Council Sleaford Westholme Ward By-Election, I have been out today for a final leaflet drop.

Some positive responses to key issues. Lots of friendly people around the Westholme Ward; it was great again to stop and chat to people – and the weather was nice too.

Many thanks,
Steve Fields

Lincolnshire Independents

Being a member of the Lincolnshire Independents allows the independent person to have a voice. Currently the Lincolnshire Independents Sleaford are the official opposition in North Kesteven District Council.

This means that as a party they will get representation on the committees at North Kesteven District Council.

It is a party, but only so that the INDEPENDENT voice is not lost and we can have a say on the major decisions made within the district.

Canvessing

I will be knocking on many more doors this week. I will be telling you and proving to you the truth behind the reasons why the Tory’s are so desperate to get their Masterplan through.

In the meantime ask yourself this, why is it that the Councillors raising their hands for changes and approving planning are also the Councillors that live in other areas? Neither of the two candidates standing against me live in Sleaford and one of them only moved to Lincolnshire seven months ago.

I love the town I live in not the one intent on being carved up by outsiders.

Many thanks,
Steve Fields

Postal Votes and Proxy Voting

Postal Votes: Postal votes are available to anyone who wants one provided they are on the electoral register. You may set one up on a permanent basis or one temporarily for a specific election.

Proxy Voting: A ‘proxy’ is someone who is appointed by you to vote on your behalf at an election. To vote by proxy you must first find someone who is willing to attend your polling station and cast your vote on your behalf.
